Support for Caregivers

The Support for Caregivers program provides a variety of services to informal caregivers and their loved ones within the City of Winnipeg.

One on One Support

Ongoing one on one support is provided by A & O Social Work staff. This support provides caregivers with someone to talk to who will listen, and in turn can assist with emotional support, access to resources, services, and more.

Support Groups

Support groups provide a safe environment for caregivers to discuss their situation with others, share ideas, and provide support to one another.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers

This program is designed to equip caregivers with the skills they need to care for themselves more effectively while supporting their loved ones. The classes are free and held via Zoom, running for 90 minutes once a week over a six-week period.
