Community presentations ensure that information is readily available to older adults, community partners and people living in the community who are concerned about issues affecting older adults and population aging.
Agency staff works with community organizations that serve older adults and cultural groups and educate them about issues related to Safety & Security, Social Engagement and Counselling. They also create awareness of the Agency’s programs and services. Agency staff work closely with community groups to ensure they are aware of the Agency and its services in order to refer Older Manitobans, their families and friends to the appropriate supports.
